Pierre Joseph Guy Richard St-Laurent, born in Thetford Mines, Quebec, on March 28, 1956, was a man of many trades, deep passions, and a fiercely independent spirit. Raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Pierre found his peace by the ocean—his heart was most at home with the sun on his back, a surfboard under his feet, or a fishing rod in hand.
A true self-starter, Pierre made a life out of working for himself. He was resourceful, determined, and never afraid to get his hands dirty. His talents were many, and he carried them with quiet pride and a generous willingness to share what he knew.
He is lovingly survived by his children, Danielle Marie Brown and Robert Elder St-Laurent, and by his three beloved grandchildren—Jayden, Summer, and Layla—who were the light of his life. To his family and those who knew him, Pierre will always be remembered as a free soul, a wave chaser, and a man who lived life with depth, simplicity, and authenticity.
His stories, his laughter, and his legacy will live on in every tide, every wave, and every heart he touched.
“Gone fishing—and surfing.”
