
Philip was a devoted husband, father, and friend whose life was defined by love, dedication, and quiet strength. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Georgia, and his cherished daughters, Nicole March Daddona and Jennifer Brett Butler. He also leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends who will remember him for his warmth, generosity, and enduring presence in their lives.
Raised in Brooklyn, Philip was educated at Our Lady of Loretto Elementary School and Bishop Loughlin High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, followed by a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Pace University in New York.
Philip built a distinguished career in business and technology. He began his professional journey with IBM in 1964, where he worked in New York, Europe, and Florida. Over the course of 30 years, he made significant contributions before retiring from IBM in 1993. He later served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at UtiliCorp in Kansas City, and then continued his leadership career with MCN Energy Group in Michigan until his retirement.
A man of deep faith, Philip was a devoted Catholic who carried his values into every aspect of his life. He will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but, more importantly, for his unwavering commitment to his family, his integrity, and the kindness he showed to all who knew him.
Philip’s legacy lives on in the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the memories his family and friends will cherish forever.
A life well lived, and a man deeply loved—he will be dearly missed.
