JUPITER, FL- Patrick E. Huffstutter, 84, passed away on March 1, 2025, in Jupiter, Florida. Born on April 28th, 1940, raised in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he raised his family in Houston, Texas, and ultimately called Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter home for the past 38 years. He lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a deep love for family and friends.
Patrick was a graduate of Tennessee Tech University, served in the Airforce Reserve, and went on to co-found Universal Tool in Houston. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication helped build what became a highly regarded and successful company. After its sale to Florida Pneumatic in 1988, he relocated to Palm Beach Gardens to accept the position of Vice President. In that role he continued to embrace both personal and professional life with his innate enthusiasm and warmth.
Beyond his professional achievements, Patrick was known for his love of sports and adventure. He found joy in tennis and golf in Houston and Ibis Country Club, water skiing in the Cypress Gardens ski show, as well as many years of wonderful memories with family and friends on Lake Conroe in Houston, or snow skiing in Steamboat- activities that reflected his energetic spirit. A devoted fan of the Daytona 500, he spent 50 years celebrating in-person the event with passion and excitement.
Patrick’s greatest legacy was the love he shared with those around him. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Judy Geraci; his children Clark Huffstutter (wife Kim and her son Sebastian), Dana Pratt (husband Rip), Stephanie and Angelo Boncimino; and his cherished grandchildren Hayden (wife Lexie), Cameron, Catalina, Riker, Ella and Blake. He was predeceased by his son Guy Huffstutter, sister Janet, and his parents Kelly and Dorothy.
Patrick will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, generosity toward others, love of family and infectious sense of humor. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
