Nels J. Norem of Pembroke Pines, FL, passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born on November 25th in Miami, FL, and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, enjoying all of South Florida’s coastal treasures.
Nels graduated from Stranahan High School in 1967 and then worked as an electrician in Florida for 43 years.
He was actively involved in football, walking along the beach and neighborhood, and attended concerts at the Sportatorium in the early days.
He is survived by his wife Susan, daughters Megan and Sara, and four grandchildren.
