Nancy was a talented painter with a knack for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Her zest for life included creating mischief, anything involving water and the beach, wrangling snakes (yes, really!), keeping a pet raccoon, cooking and cherishing time with her loved ones. Her adventurous spirit and contagious laughter left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Larry Post (wife Debbie) and Karadine Lance (husband Harvie); her daughters, Jeannie Elmore (husband Rick) and Theresa Biron; her stepdaughter Buffie Liter; grandsons, George Williams III (GW) (wife Sarah), Clinton Bohannon (wife Jennifer), Chris Jones (wife Tabitha), Bryon Mashburn (wife Kaitlyn), and Myles Bohannon. Her legacy continues to shine through her 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Nancy reunites with her parents, Albert and Amanda Post, and her beloved partner, Wayne Liter, who preceded her in passing.
Details of a celebration of life will be announced soon. In lieu of flowers, plant a plant of your choice or enjoy a moment watching the waves crash at the beach.
Nancy’s life was a testament to living boldly, loving deeply, and finding joy in every adventure. She will forever be remembered as a force of nature, a creative soul, and a cherished matriarch.
