Michael Joseph Pistilli, 84, of Boyton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully Monday, December 30, 2024 in Boca Raton, Fl. He was born on February 7, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Michael Joseph and Jennie (Nasuti) Pistilli.
Mike was avid about all things mechanical and electronic. He graduated high school in western Pennsylvania and went on to receive an associate degree from Penn State University, followed by a career in military communications with Western Union. He loved sports cars and owned or leased several, including two Chevy Corvettes and a Mazda with a rotary Wankel engine. He also worked privately as a computer technician.
He is survived by his daughter Pam DeLuca (Steve) and grandchildren, Charlie, Joseph and Gianina; son Mark Perry (Ann); step-son Gregory Knorr and his daughter Hayley; step-daughter Tammy Kruger (Todd); brother Robert Pistilli (Linda); and by nieces and nephews Richard Vargon, George Vargon, Sue Vertullo (Joe), Kathy Vargon (Billy Schmidt), Maria Vargon, Maxwell Pistilli (Courtney), and Lucy Pistilli (Peter Fischbeck). Mike was preceded in death by his first wife Judith (Paschall) Pistilli, second wife Carol Pistilli, his son Stephen Pistilli and his sister Rose Ann (Pistilli) Vargon.
A celebration of life will be planned by the family sometime in 2025.
