Marco Antonio Garzon-Rincon

Marco Antonio Garzón Rincón of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 at the age of 83. He was born on February 1st, 1942 in Bogotá, Colombia where he grew up an only child to Soledad Pardo de Garzón, a loving and dedicated mother who did everything possible to ensure he experienced a loved and happy life growing up.

He graduated from Colegio San Bernardo in 1963 and enrolled in the Colombian Navy. He later went on to work for Avianca Airlines and ADPOSTAL (Colombian National Mail) as a Postal Inspector. He excelled in his career, earning numerous service awards and the admiration of many.

One of his passions was travel. He got to see many parts of the world and learn about different cultures. He loved taking his family on trips near and far, teaching us all about the places we visited, cities, history and especially nature, which is one of the things he loved greatly.

Our father worked very hard to ensure a better future for his family, including immigrating to the United States in the 1990s and becoming a US citizen in 2000. His legacy will continue to shine within his loved ones, full of immense gratitude and admiration.He was an avid fisherman, an animal lover, a coin collector, a philanthropist and had a passion for traveling, self-improvement and constant learning.

Preceded in death by his mother Soledad Pardo de Garzón, father Cenen Garzón Pineda, son Marco Antonio Garzón Rodriguez and biological mother Isabel Rincón Orozco. Survived by his five children Martha, Claudia, Marco Alejandro, Teresa and Natalia and his five grandchildren Ian, Juan Felipe, Diego, Pablo and Gabriella.

Beloved father, you were a true gentleman. We will never forget your eternal optimism, generosity, kindness, resilience, your ambition for the family, your unwavering support, your dedication to your children and the way you made unpleasant moments just a little bit better.
