June V Lassel

June Lassel, 89 years old, Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 15, 1930 died peacefully on September 3, 2019 Predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1999.and survived by three children – son Jeffrey and his wife Robyn, son Martin, and daughter Judy Hutchinson and her husband Gary. June had three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In 1969, June and her family moved to Lauderdale By the Sea where they owned and operated the Mardi Gras Motel in Lauderdale By the Sea for 5 years. Subsequently June continued to live and work in the town and was involved in various community functions for the next 35 years. She was a member of the Broward Sheriff’s Citizen’s Observer Patrol, Lauderdale by the Sea unit in town for a number of years. June and her late husband loved to travel and took many cruises in and around the Caribbean as well as a trans-canal cruise through the Panama Canal. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday September 28th at Jarvis Hall in the Lauderdale by the Sea Town Hall complex, 4501 Ocean Drive, Lauderdale by the Sea, FL 33308
