I loved Dr Hill   He was my friend and boss for many years.  He and Phil Coleman taught me about life.  We all travelled to consult jobs and I ran his office in West Monroe and Baton Rouge.  I would hear from him every once in awhile.  He will be greatly missed by all.  Janie Allen Feistel

I met Larry 24 years ago. When I first met him, I did not know he was the real McCoy. Psychiatrist(child and adolescent), Businessman (Antiques, Restaurants, Arts) among other skills - a man's man. A true leader without the ego. Like a tornado, no one could not be transformed by his presence. I was privileged to spend the last 24 years on this planet with him as a companion.

Larry was one of the first people I met when I was stationed in New Orleans in the US Public Health Service during the Vietnam War.  He was amazingly hospitable and made me feel at home and part of the French Quarter neighborhood.  He introduced me to an amazing artist named George Dureau across Esplanade and later to his friends Don Jacobs and George Powers in Pass Christian.  As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, he helped many young people get on the pathway to successful and happy lives.  He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
