Missing my old friend. Such great memories growing up together in NYC. Jon is on the right &  I’m on the far left. Glad we stayed in touch in Fla. You left us too soon.

I think that Jon should have some fuzzy bunny slippers, all guys should have fuzzy bunny slippers. A man is not a true man unless he has fuzzy bunny slippers.

Jon got me into model rocketry, Centuri and Estes, it was funny when shots went off like into the East River or into some trees. I used to have run after those to prevent fires, nobody wants some goofy fire. 
Behold the BIG BERTHA!


Here's a funny one, Jon and I did a lemonaide stand across from his apartment, right on 66th and 5th. We both cleard about $50 each, we made sure to keep the stand in the hot sun so people would want cool refreshing lemonaide. We refreshed it right upstairs and with the dagostinos (?) on Madison. A blonde dude named Jon and a brown head named Pat, of course we'll make sales.
We made sure to make the stand in the sunlight, that way people were more thirsty.
The crazy thing now is that kids running lemonaide stands would in this democrat land be considerd terrorist activitity.


I guess his parents were out one night so we deciced to watch Blazing Saddles in their bed, just checking it out. That was a lot of fun, I wouldn't trade that stuff for the world. Just chillin out and having some fun watching a good movie. Hoo rah!

I was very saddened to hear of Jon’s passing. My condolences to the entire Toppel family. I will always cherish the great times I shared with Jonathan.  I hope he has finally found peace. God Bless his soul. Sympathies and prayers 

Here's a funny one when trying to get out of some ceremony, so Jon and I went next door to a movie theatre, they were playing Watership Down. The old biddy at the gate didn't believe that we were of age so we had to stand around and some guy let us go in.

John was a friend from long ago.  Always full of life.   Will miss him. 
So sorry about this. 
My prayers are with you all. 

Jon will be missed I always enjoyed playing tennis and golf with him. He always spoke with love about Madison. I will miss his sense of humor and enjoyed Heat games as well. I am sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you Pat.

Too many to share, my cousin and I were friends. We could be honest with each other.
