John was born in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late Armand DiGeronimo and Carmela Milo DiGeronimo.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Armand and Gloria.
He leaves behind to mourn his loss, his children, John, Susan, and Edward, and grandchildren, Melissa, Michelle, Jacqueline, Brian, and Katie.
John was a veteran of World War II, serving as a Cavalry Trooper in Germany.
John had a long career as an elementary school teacher in Seaford, New York.
John's greatest pleasures were playing golf and dancing.
He is now at peace.
A memorial service with military honors will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019, at 11:00 am at Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
