Joan Marie Abbott

Joan Marie (Strickland) Abbott of Boynton Beach , Florida formally of Dedham Massachusetts passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on February 20, 2023. Joan was an Army veteran, where she was a registered nurse while serving. She continued her nursing career in Boston until she retired.

She was the beloved mother of Lynn Reardon and her husband Jimmy of Boynton Beach, Fl, David Abbott and his wife Deb of Ashland, MA, and Lori Sulinski of Dedham, MA. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Celeste, Melissa, and Erin Reardon, Brenna and Richie Abbott, and Michael, Jason, Matthew, and Meghan Sulinski. Also Great Grandson Jayden Moyett. Joan enjoyed many things in her life especially spending time with her grandchildren. She could be found most weekends on the sidelines cheering on her grandchildren at all their activities. Joan also enjoyed traveling with her family to many destinations including Ireland, Scotland, Iceland and Alaska. In her spare time Joan would take part in sewing classes. She was proud to share her quilts with everyone. Joan impacted everyone she knew and will be missed dearly.
