Jeffrey Michael Brait

BRAIT, Jeffrey (Jeff). Age 53, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, formerly of West Roxbury and Dedham, MA, died suddenly and unexpectedly on August 20, 2022. Jeff is pre-deceased by his loving father, John Brait, and his dear brothers John Brait Jr., and Richard (Ricky) Brait. He leaves behind his cherished mother Geraldine (Gerri) Brait, and his beloved daughter, Stephanie Brait of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear, wonderful friends.

Jeff certainly lived life to the fullest and was proud to passionately remind everyone, “We are not here for a long time, but for a good time.” Everyone who knew Jeff will greatly cherish his impact on their lives, either through love, friendship, humor, or his sports obsessions. Jeff’s big heart, his drive for fun, and his giving nature will always be lovingly remembered.

Burial services will be held privately for Jeff’s family at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA.

A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held at Jake ‘n Joe’s Sports Grille at 475 Providence Highway, Norwood, MA on Friday, September 30th at 5pm. We’ll be gathering then to share our fondest memories, sing his favorite Elvis ballads, to laugh, to cry, and to say goodbye to someone who truly will be forever missed.
