Jeanne was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Zita Corcoran of Boynton Beach, and sister Marilou Wood of Sidney, British Columbia, Canada. Jeanne was also predeceased by her loving husband of 37 years, Trevor, and her twin sons Gary and Greg. She is survived by her daughter Susan, her son-in-law Charles Kaler, daughter-in-law Cathy McNellen, Grandchildren: Kimberly, Kristina, Samantha, Daniel, Anna, Andrew, and eight great-grandchildren.
Jeanne and Trevor moved to Delray Beach in 1966. She was a homemaker, volunteered for school events, various charities, and held the full-time position of home office manager to Trevor’s various businesses. Eventually Jeanne became a caretaker to individuals in need of help to complete daily tasks, and companionship.
Her favorite hobbies included sewing, which she excelled at, crossword puzzles, gardening, socializing over a cup of coffee, traveling, and if she could not go in person, she traveled the world via her tv travel shows. She had healing hands for the sick, and she believed that just about anything could be put to beneficial use, hence a great improviser. Shortbread cookies were one of her specialties to which family, friends, and neighbors looked forward to every Christmas.
At Jeanne’s request, a private family celebration of life will take place in her honor.
