Inge Konietzko

Dr. Inge B. Konietzko passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 92. She was born on

November 5, 1932, in Germany, she spent her early years in Berlin, Germany.

Dr. Konietzko earned her medical degree from the Free University of Berlin in 1960. She

specialized in anesthesiology and began her career at Neukoelln Hospital in Berlin, where she

gained recognition for her exceptional clinical expertise and dedication to patient care. A

respected educator, she also played a pivotal role in training numerous anesthesiologists.

In 1972, Dr. Konietzko immigrated to the United States and completed her anesthesiology

residency at the University of Miami in Florida. Upon finishing her training in 1974, she

embarked on a successful career in West Palm Beach, FL, where she practiced anesthesiology for

over 30 years. Board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, she was highly

regarded in her field. Dr. Konietzko retired in 2004 after a long and distinguished career.
