Ernest Michael Fratalia

Ernest “Ernie” Fratalia, born November 20, 1950 passed away in the comfort of his home in Hobe Sound, FL on July 18th, 2026 surrounded by his three children, Ernest Fratalia, Lisa Mitchell and Annemarie Fratalia, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Ernie was the proud son of the late Gloria (Vena) and Francesco Fratalia. He was raised in Charlestown, MA. later resided in Lynn, MA. and retired to Hobe Sound, FL.

Ernie was a proud Vietnam Veteran, skilled electrician and accomplished handyman who enjoyed the simple life. His hobbies included fishing, gardening and breakfast outings with his closest friends and family.

He is the loving oldest sibling of 6. Stephen, Vincent, Francesca, Robert and Christopher, their spouses, children and grandchildren. Also loved by several family members abroad in Italy. Ernie was the proud Nonno to 9 grandchildren. Joey, Gloria, Justin, Anthony, Cam, Madison, Edward, Joseph and Franki.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Ernie’s name to The Children's Cancer Society, an Organization he had previously worked for and supported.
