Eleanor Gloria Bergman, 89, of Boynton Beach, Florida, died peacefully at her home on December 11, 2024. She had been married for 55 years to Burton Kaplan (deceased February 2009) and later for 12 years to Elliot Bergman (deceased July 2023.) She is survived by her three children Scott, Valerie and Carline, six grandchildren Kayte, Zachary, Dylan, Mia, Jay and Ava and her two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Eloise.
Daughter of Lee and Samuel Nobler, Eleanor was born in the Bronx, NY, and was very close to her two sisters, Sedell and Shirley. Eleanor attended art school and later became an award winning water colorist and acrylic painter.
She also designed and hand-painted elaborate handbags, one of a kind pieces, that were sold worldwide in luxury department stores and boutiques. She enjoyed painting throughout her entire life, sharing her work generously with friends and family and donating to charities.
Eleanor was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt to her adoring nieces and nephews. She was also a loyal friend to many, admired for her quick witted humor, charm and elegance. She was as sparkling and colorful as her artwork, and just like her designs, she was truly one of a kind .
