Daniel Roger Fountaine

Daniel was born on December 19, 1939 in Chicago, IL. He enjoyed bicycle riding, playing Pinochle, travel, attending theater, dinner and activities with friends.

Dan grew up in Cicero, IL. He was the youngest of 3 children. he graduated from Morton High School and attended Chicago College of Commerce Court Reporting School. He was a Court Reporter for the State of Illinois for 34 years until he retired in 2004. Dan was kind, thoughtful, and generous to all of his family and friends. He always wanted to live in sunny Florida where he moved in 2013.

Dan is survived by his Nieces, Holly Murtaugh (Patrick) of Elk Grove Village, Illinois and Blythe McDuffee(David) of North Port, Florida; Gary Fountaine (Nephew); Gail Fountaine(Niece) and extended family and friends.

A Memorial Ceremony for Daniel will be held at the Auditorium of John Knox Village on Thursday October 26th, 2023 at 4pm ET.
