March 14, 1943 – April 12, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Dietz, 81, of Florida, who left this world peacefully on April 12, 2025. Daniel, a man whose warmth, humor, and love of life touched the hearts of everyone who knew him, will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of crossing his path.
Daniel’s heart was always drawn to the mountains of Colorado, yet he spent the majority of his life in Florida, where he built a legacy of hard work, love, and generosity. As a young man, Daniel discovered his passion for printing, and over the years, he became a successful businessman, founding Graphic Equipment International, where he worked tirelessly for over two decades. His professional success was built on the same integrity and dedication that defined his personal life.
Outside of work, Daniel was an avid lover of the outdoors and animals. He enjoyed exploring nature and took every opportunity to be outside, whether hiking, fishing, or simply enjoying the beauty around him. His sharp sense of humor and warm spirit meant that he never met a stranger, and he was known for making everyone feel welcome.
Above all, Daniel was a devoted father and grandfather. He poured his heart into his family, always putting their needs above his own. Daniel’s love for his children and grandchildren was unconditional; he never said no when it came to giving them his time, guidance, and support. He attended school events, sports games, dances, and made special one-on-one memories with each grandchild, taking them on dates to foster a unique and lasting bond.
Daniel is survived by his beloved children, grandchildren, and extended family, who will cherish his memory and the lessons he imparted. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and a life well-lived.
May his spirit forever soar like the mountains he loved so much. Rest in peace, Daniel.
