Dale was a best friend and classmate of mine.  We joined the Navy together in 1955 after graduating from Huntington (WV) Vinson High School.  Dale was notified of his appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy while we were in training at the Naval Air Training School in Norman, OK.

Although we have lost touch over the years, I will always remember Dale.  We had great times together.  I will always think of him as a best friend.

Hello Neighbors''''Sorry-to-hear-about-Dale. this is Paul Moore from #118, 33483. Moved away' back to virginia with wife -Shelby' Our youngest son Mark graduated usafa class 99' and you'll be glad he was at the D. C.  get together yesterday where they read the name's of academy grad's-passed, and Mark being a Chaplain was there and made the prayer at the end, for all in attendance. Dale's name was read in honor of those who served.  Shelby passed away Dec.2018.
