Consuelo is survived by her Daughter Elsa, Son Jorge (Daughter-in-law Nely), Daughter Sonia (Son-in-law Thomas) and Daughter Karla (Son-in-law Danny), Grandchildren Krystal, Josh and Jonathan, and Great grandkids Jacob and Elijah.
Consuelo Trujillo was a loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and having family gatherings. Her humble upbringing defined who she was, always appreciating the smallest of things.
She was known for her warm and caring personality. She had a generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. When she was given birthday money, she would always send part of it to the Sacred Heart Monastery.
Consuelo immigrated to the U.S. in the 70s not knowing the language or anyone. She worked hard to bring the rest of the family, one at a time; to give her kids a better life.
She worked as a seamstress for Bardinella Designs.
Even though she was a small person, she was very strong. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved travelling. She was liked by everyone who met her.
Consuelo was known as “The Queen” with Celebrity crew members from the many cruises she sailed. The ocean was her peace.
She loved butterflies and elephants, and her favorite color was purple.
Consuelo will be missed dearly and will live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her for eternity. We will forever honor the legacy of a remarkable woman.
The family would like to thank Dr. John Hoyes for the amazing care and compassion he provided to keep her enjoying life for a few extra years.
