Connilou "Conni" Hager

Born on July 20, 1954, in Clarkson, New York, Conni moved to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1979, where she would live a life marked by service, faith, and joy. A licensed paralegal by profession, Conni was known for her sharp mind, strong sense of integrity, and clever wit.

She was deeply committed to her community and gave generously of her time. Conni faithfully volunteered with The Salvation Army West Palm Beach Corps, serving in the food pantry and helping coordinate Angel Tree programs during the holidays. Her compassion extended to animals as well. She was an avid dog lover and volunteered as a dog trainer with Peggy Adams Rescue League, helping prepare rescue dogs for adoption.

Conni had a wide range of interests. She enjoyed shooting sports, crafting, especially Diamond Art, and serving her church family at Son Life Lutheran Church, where she led the Altar Guild and faithfully wrote the church newsletter. Her love for the Lord was evident in all she did, and her life was a beautiful testimony to grace, kindness, and quiet strength.

Conni will be remembered for her compassionate heart, sense of humor, honesty, intelligence, and unwavering faith.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Dan Hager; three stepchildren: Amanda (Hager) Warnick, Ian Hager, and Alicia (Hager) Simmons; and eight beloved grandchildren: Jade Robledo, McKenzie Warnick, DJ Hager, Josie Hager, Haely Hager, Cole Hager, Freddy Simmons, and Alana Simmons.

Conni was the cherished daughter of Margaret Barney, who survives her, and the late Richard Barney. She is also survived by her siblings: Richard Barney Jr., Brian Barney, Dan Barney, and Heidi Coffey.

Her presence, laughter, and servant-hearted spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at The Salvation Army Lake Worth Corps located at 4051 Kirk Rd, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33461 on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Conni's honor to The Salvation Army Lake Worth Corps.
