Colleen Marie McBride

Colleen McBride of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the age of 39. She was born on February 9, 1984 in Rochester, Minnesota where she spent the first few years of her life. She moved with her mother to Naples, Florida at the age of 5. Colleen attended St. Ann Catholic School, Pine Ridge Middle School, and Barron Collier High School, all in Naples.

As a young girl, she loved spending summers with her grandparents in Minnesota. She loved the animals on the farm and wanted to be a veterinarian. She loved people as well, and never knew a stranger. She had a beautiful smile and made friends easily.

Once out of high school, Colleen moved to Fort Lauderdale where she did modeling work and sold nutraceuticals. She was charming and well liked by those who met and knew her.

Colleen will be remembered for her spontaneity and easygoing nature. She was courageous in the face of adversity, and forever touched our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, John L. McBride, Lloyd Lowrie, and Ronald TePoel. She is survived by her mother, Jill McBride Woodyard, father, William (Bill) Lowrie, brothers Dalton Ramsey, Joseph Ramsey, and Sam Lowrie. She is also survived by her grandmothers Helen McBride and Margaretha (Margie) Lowrie of Minnesota as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Special thanks to the two dear friends who cared for her like family the last months of her life.
