Bonnie Lee Glinski, 79, of Wellington, Florida, formerly of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away on June 13, 2023, at home. Bonnie was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on September 27, 1943, and her family moved to Florida in 1956. She graduated from Forest Hill High School in 1961 and the American College of Business in 1962. Most passionate about her career as a wife and mother, she worked for various municipalities, retiring from the City of Boynton Beach as Deputy City Clerk in 2004. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling, ballroom dancing, playing cards, and activities with her many friends in the Leisureville community, especially tap dancing in their annual variety shows.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lucille (Reigle) Cowden; brothers, James Michael and Larry Cowden; husband, Robert Glinski; and companion, Bill Bone. She is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sherri Claude; son, Steven (Denise) Hall; former husband and friend, Kenneth Hall; grandchildren, Julie (Danny) Schwartz, Jamie (Jon) Butz, Natalie Claude-Banks; Emily (Adam) Paleo, Steven J. Hall, Dylan, Joshua and Richard Hall; and great-grandchildren Evelyn, Malcolm and Lillian Butz; Olivia and Phoebe Schwartz; and Lucas and Brandon Paleo.
The family would like to thank the owner and caregivers at Global Homecare Angels for the care and compassion they showed our family in her final days.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Boynton Beach Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Trustbridge Hospice Foundation.
