
Aunt Bert - We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the times you were there for us starting with being part of our very special day as part of our wedding. Over the years many things have changed but not the support you always gave us and to Mom after Dad passed away. It is very hard to put into words how much you will be missed.

Uncle Jim, Dawn and Jimmy - There are so many good times to remember and we wish you all the peace of having those memories.


Gwen, Gabriela and I got to know Bertha about four years ago through her lovely daughter, Dawn, our next door neighbor. From the very beginning, we were impressed by her open friendliness, great compassion and concern for others. I remember the last time we met, about a month ago, despite her medical vicissitudes, she hugged me and was concerned about my weight loss due to recent minor surgery. I was touched by her keen observation and caring manner. Gwen, Gabriela and I will miss Bertha very much. Our sincere condolences to the family.

 Family, Tom & my hearts go out to each of you.  I want you to know that I am with you in thought and wish you all  comfort and peace as you remember Bert. My condolences to the family.  Bert was as kind, loving and tolerant a woman as I've ever met. I have more fond memories than could be listed here, especially ones  of weekends spent with the family many years ago.  All of the old crew back in Pa. are grateful to have known her, our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

To a strong woman and beautiful soul Bert, thank you for all that you have added to our lives...you will be deeply missed.

And this that we call death, it is no more than the opening and closing of a door. 
For James, Dawn, Family and Friends:
In short we all matter far more than we typically have a clue about and love is what is real. Bert was a true example of a love and light that will be sorely missed. Berts Loving , Supportive , Amazingly Strong Family is a testament to the qualities that she radiated so eloquently throughout her life. 
Words could not express the depths of your sorrow, just as they could not capture the essence of how much Bert meant to all of us  who knew and loved her.
Even though there is no real preparation for losing someone we love, there is a place deep within each of us that knows that Bert lives on. 
It is the familiar place we go when the outside world seems distant and foreign. 
It is the same place that connects us to each other and the creator.
It is the safe place within that reminds us that we could never be alone.
In the words we speak, memories that we share and the things we do, Berts essence lives on. I know that Bert is most proud and touched of how she is honored today and every day.
I try to remember, Our losses are as temporary as our lives...
Our togetherness is as forever as our spirit...
Our lives flow through this world, because we all work as one beyond it. 
Our voice is heard, our hearts have clearly spoken, and our soul knows that Bert Love lives on.
I pray for a day when we can stop crying because Bert is gone and smile again because she was here.

Dear Uncle Jim, Jimmy & Dawn,

Words cannot express the love Joe and I will always have for Aunt Bert.  She was one of a kind! So loving, funny, full of life and touched our lives every time we came to visit.  We were blessed to live so close and to see her so often.  
We both have the same Pluto wind chime and whenever it chimes at our house I think of Aunt Bert in her new home in heaven. Our Heavenly Father has her in his arms now.

Her love for our family radiates in our hearts.  We love you Aunt Bert and miss you so much.  We will see you one day again.  Such a beautiful tribute with all the pictures and memories.

Dear James: Another Angel has been taken from us here on Earth!!!  But we look forward to seeing Bert again one day in Heaven where she now resides without pain and suffering with our Heavenly Father.  Although we did not spent a lot of time with Bert, her passing has greatly saddened us.  We are praying for you and your family and are here for you.

It is with a very heavy heart that we have in no longer seeing her smile and grace or her wisdom..... but we are blessed in knowing her for these last 13 years. She is no longer in pain and in the arms of the all mighty where she will remain the shining star she has always been.
