He cared for his community at Century Village and served on the board and as president for nearly 20 years. He enjoyed the social gatherings and dances there, and Sunday Morning Meetings with Friends at McDonalds. Handsome, with a gentle smile and warm laugh, he was inquisitive and enjoyed engaging with others and hearing their life stories. A great storyteller, he also shared what he learned in life, so it may help others. Basil was a good man who touched many lives during his walk on Earth. Time Passes, Love Remains.
