Alfrieda Malone

Alfrieda (Rita) Malone-Hoffman, 71, died July 28, 2017 at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart FL. She was born in Hartford CT and has been living in Florida for the past 32 years, where she owned and ran her Auto Tag Agency until her passing. Rita touched so many people she was the family’s pillar of strength. She was predeceased by her parents Etta Rose & Wesley George Root SR, her son Nicholas Malone and her siblings: Wesley Root JR., Sherman Root, and Eleanor Dwyer. She was also predeceased by the father of her children, Capt. James R. Malone. She leaves behind her husband, Barry Hoffman of Lantana FL. Her Children: James Rizza of North Port FL, Daniel Rizza of Missouri, Jacklyn Malone of Port St Lucie, Audra Malone of Port St Lucie. Also left behind are her grandchildren: Ashley Horne of Jensen Beach, Sieharra Gissome of Stuart, Donald Horne Jr. of Jensen Beach, Angela-Mia Shivers-Wimer of Port St. Lucie, Darrell Sweatt of Port St. Lucie, Shelbie Shivers of Port St. Lucie, Ty-Michael Schmidt of Port St. Lucie, and Aubre Rizza of Missouri. She also leaves behind her many great-grandchildren: Kaelyn Baker, Sophia Shivers, Hayden Sweatt, Auna Baldwin, Cameron Baker, Michael Wimer, Kimber Baquette, Konner Sweatt, Legend Gissome, and Carson Wimer. Siblings: Rose Davis, Betty Witkowski, Jackie Pechout, Richard & Ronald Crisitello. She loved many and was loved by all. The family will be having a celebration of life on August 26, 2017. Time and location to be determined, where we will scatter her cremains.
