Stella Louise Timmons

Stella Reneau Timmons of Allen passed away on July 5, 2018. She was born in Carrollton, Texas on June 11, 1942. She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Timmons; four children and their spouses, James and Sandra Petty, Robert and Shelley Petty, Sonya and David Springer, Shelly and David Dickey; five sisters, Jean Blair, Judy Hill, Gwen Holton, Patty McLeod, and Cheri Skains; as well as eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Peggy, and parents, Harold “Dude” and Frances Reneau. Stella is a 1960 graduate of Carrollton High School. She was a brilliant woman who, without a college degree, had a very successful career with Texas Instruments and several electronics companies in California. Upon her retirement from Xerox in 1999, Stella was an engineering software manager. Stella’s family is grateful for the care that she received in her final phase of life at The Heritage at Twin Creeks Memory Care in Allen.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association or Salvation Army.
