Sharon Bohannon Sears

Mrs. Sharon “Sheri” Bohannon Sears, of Dallas, Texas, born on October 12, 1939 in Brownwood, Texas, to the late Wilma Bohannon and the late Ross Bohannon. She passed away peacefully on July 18, 2018 at the age of 78.

Sheri met her beloved, late husband Wheeler while at the University of Texas and raised a family in Dallas, Texas where she lived until her death. She was a devoted wife to her husband and mother to her three sons and took great joy in seeing her seven beautiful grandchildren blossom. Sheri attended Hillcrest High School (Dallas) and University of Texas (Austin). Sheri will be remembered for her humor, grace and devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wheeler Moore Sears and her sister, Mary Lynn Garner. Sheri is survived by her sons, Scott Sears, Bo Sears, and Jim Sears; sister, Kelly Ludwig; and grandchildren, Katie Sears, Sara Sears, Wheeler Sears, Gigi Sears, Walker Sears, Henry Sears, and Harrison Sears. A private family ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held.
