Myra Faye Henderson

On July 21, 2022 at 5:18 pm, our beloved Myra, gained her angel wings and met our Father in Heaven face to face. Our family grieves the loss of a truly remarkable woman who always had a smile on her face and a song in her heart. She was a wonderful wife, mother, memaw, sister and aunt, and friend.

Myra Faye Henderson (Taylor) was born on March 28, 1952 in St Louis, Missouri to Bill and Laura Taylor. She had five brothers and four sisters and she loved each and every one of them with all her heart. Her only child, Ronda Neuert was born in September of 1968 and was the absolute light of her life.

Myra married her soulmate and one true love, Orland (Bud) Henderson in March of 1997 He was her prince charming, her shining star, and the love of her life for the rest of her days.

Myra had a gorgeous smile that lit up any room that she entered. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. If you knew Myra you would know the most important thing to her was her family.

She absolutely loved being a Memaw, she always looked forward to family gatherings with all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, it was a bonus for her when Blake brought his guitar and singing was involved.. She had such a love for music, she could always be heard singing whether it was hymns in church, karaoke, singing while doing chores, or singing along to her favorite tunes in the car. Especially Conway, Loretta, and Tammy.

She also loved to eat Mexican food which would often include a margarita that would give her a contagious giggle! She was a very talented artist and took pride in sharing that passion with her grandchildren. She loved babies also had a big heart for animals and even enjoyed cooking special foods for her fur babies.

She poured her heart and love into each and every person she met and her gentle spirit always radiated and would shine brightly to everyone she met. Myra is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Laura Taylor, her brothers Bo Taylor and Ronald Taylor, and her sisters, Coweta Washington, and Wanda Bess.

Myra's legacy survives by her loving husband, Orland (Bud) Henderson, her daughter, Ronda Neuert and husband Gordy, her stepson, Perry Gallagher and his wife Marni, her grandchildren, Deanna Robinson, Amanda Robinson, Blake Robinson, Nickolas Neuert, and Trevor Neuert and her greatgrandchildren, Reagan Buck, Casey Buck, Jason Neuert, Summer Neuert, Emily Neuert, and Hayden Neuert. Her siblings, are Reda Wells, Bob Taylor, Bill Taylor, Sandy Taylor, and Frank Taylor.
