Michael Maurice Conlan, of McKinney Texas, died on January 31st, 2025. He was 82 years old. Michael was born in Butte Montana in 1942 to James Michael Conlan and Helen Mary Eagan. Michael was a veteran of the United States Army as a maintenance mechanic inspector. He served tours in Korea and later was stationed in Kentucky.
Michael literally toured the world once he entered civilian life. He worked for and with companies such as Exxon, Daimler, Volvo, Hitachi, and John Deere, but was most known for his time working for Euclid Heavy Machinery. He always found a way to blend in with any culture and with perfect strangers. He was an expert traveler with a career that took him to six of the seven continents. Michael loved his craft and worked tirelessly to support his customers. He loved to play golf and watch his favorite sports teams (Browns, Guardians) every chance he could.
Michael is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nhora Cruz-Conlan; Children, Rosanna, Regina, Cecelia, and Owen; Grandchildren, James, Jonathan, Cassie, Emily, Dawn, Mary, Caitlyn, and Hailey, and loved as a grandson Dylan; Sibling, Patrick; Nieces Tara, and Heather, Kimberly, Kristy; Nephew, Patrick James.
