Martha Dearborn Beery

In loving memory of Martha “Marty” Dearborn Beery who passed away on the morning of July 10th at the age of 87 in her home in Plano, Texas. Martha was preceded in death by her first husband Arlie Beery Jr. and her second husband Al Bonutto. Martha is survived by her two sons, Charlie Beery, Bob Beery and daughter Lindee Beery Scheuneman; her grandchildren, Lindsey Beery Wilson, Luke Beery, Kyndal Beery Johnston, Kaylee and Cliff Beery, Mathew and Charlie Scheuneman and her great grandchildren, Noah, Beau, Shepard and Baxter Wilson, Canon Beery, Preston and Forest Johnston, and Charlotte Scheuneman. Martha was born in Evanston, Illinois on May 2,1930, the daughter of Luther and Lillian Dearborn. Her brother Luther Dearborn Jr. preceded her in death. She met her husband Arlie Jr. in 1949 at the University of Colorado and they were married in Evanston, Illinois in 1951. Arlie was diagnosed with Leukemia in December of 1984 and died at the age of 57 in August of 1985. After some time, Martha met Al Bonutto , they fell in love and married, remaining together until Al’s passing. We remember with love and gratitude the entire Bonutto family for the way they welcomed mom into their family. We are all so grateful for the life that mom shared with us, and the wonderful example of unconditional love that she demonstrated to our entire family during her lifetime. Her sweet, happy, optimistic and encouraging spirit will be how she is remembered in our hearts and minds. A family celebration of Martha’s life with all of her family and friends will be held in a memorial service in Plano, Texas at a date still to be determined.
