Margaret Ann Harrison “Meg” 82, of The Colony passed away at 9:15 on March 14, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family, after a long battle of COPD. Meg was born on May 13, 1940, in Carey Ohio, the daughter of Leon Charles “Jymer” and Marguerite Montague Mullholand.
Meg was a pillar in her community always helping with special events around town. She helped start up the hometown childcare center Kids Count Too. Then became a National Account Supervisor for Concentra Medical Center for 20 plus years. She was a wonderful loving mother who was feisty and full of comebacks. She loved reading, sitting on her porch doing crossword puzzles, and loved helping people. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and her great grandchild.
She is survived by her children Rebecca “Becky” Harrison and Andrew Harrison and wife Elizabeth; her grandchildren Blake Everett, Brice Everett, Nicholas Harrison, Meghan Harrison, and her great grandchild Saraphina Castillo-Everett; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Meg was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Harrison; four sisters, Dorthy June Buckingham, Wanda Mullholand, Barbara Dible and Becky Pryor; two brothers Charles “Buzzy” Mullholand and Paul Mullholand.
Services will be held on Friday April 21, 2023, At 5:30pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church in The Colony Texas. She will then be interred at a private ceremony at the National Cemetery in Dallas Texas with her husband.
