Joseph John Schons

Joseph John Schons was born February 2, 1931 in Mankato, Minnesota to the late Joseph and Catherine Schons. He graduated from the U. of Minnesota in 1955 with a degree in Chemical Engineer. He married Doris Ann Dilley on June 14, 1955. He worked most of his career in Saudi Arabia as a Process Engineer. He retired in 1985 and moved to Tyler, Texas. Joe passed away November 3, 2017 in Tyler, Texas. Survivors include his wife Doris of 62 years, son Michael (Peggy) Schons of Savage, Minnesota, daughter Pat Schons of Fayetteville, Ohio, granddaughter’s Allison Schons, Natalie (Brett) Thielman and grandson Bryan Guthrie and other relatives., He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Schons, brothers James and Jerry, and sister Evelyn Schultz. Private inurnment at a later date.
