Jan Dewayne Sigwing

Jan Dewayne Sigwing, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2016 in Terrell, Texas. Jan was born on June 28, 1941 in Hays, Kansas to Myrna (Cocoran) and Orval Sigwing. He proudly served in the US Navy and after 20 years as a career officer,he retired as Master Chief. Jan enjoyed coin collecting and spending time with his family. Jan is preceded in death by his parents and step-son, Willard Matthews. Those left to cherish the memory of Jan are: his wife of 26 years, Sue C. Sigwing (Cook); son, Troy S. Sigwing and wife, Kelley of Dallas, TX; daughter, Lori A. Olson and husband, Christopher of Palm Harbor, FL.; step-daughter, Lesa HIll and husband, Jody of Dallas, TX; step sons: Charles K. Hiatt and wife Beth of Bowie, TX, Billie R. Matthews and wife, Julie of Quinlan, TX and Richard L. Hiatt of Dallas, TX.; sisters: Marcia Doughman and husband, Gary of Clyde, KS. and Mitzi Dodson and husband, David of Cottonwood, AZ.; brother, Mike Corcoran of Phillipsburg, KS; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.
