Jan’s contagious love touched each person that she ever came in contact with. She loved people and thrived on putting a smile on someone’s face or making someone’s day a little brighter. There was never a stranger to her and no matter where she was, she was making friends and leaving fond memories. Anytime while out in public and needed to be found in a crowd, listening for laughter or her signature sneeze would lead right to her. Jan retired from the United States Department of State and loved to travel. Later in life she took a great interest in the antique silver world where she made many long-lasting relationships.
