Frances Carmen Lewis

Frances Carmen Lewis 78, went home to her Lord on December 6, 2017 in Denison, TX. She was born on March 5, 1939 in Honolulu, HI to Frank Jordan Medeiros and Maria Delerose Juarez. She met the love of her life, John Martin Lewis and they were married on February 8, 1957. She was a wife who showed unquestionable love and devotion. She was also a devoted to mother to her two sons, Mark and John Lewis. She sang them songs and read them stories. She cared, knitted, crocheted, cooked, and cleaned for them out of love for her family. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, to all who will dearly miss her.

Frances was preceded in death by her son Mark Evan Lewis (who passed away in 2010 due to cancer) and her husband of 60 years, John Martin Lewis in August 2017.

She is survived by her son, John Jordan Lewis of Fort Collins, CO; numerous other family members and a host of friends.

Memorial services were held for Fran on December 13, 2018 at Sherwood Shores Chapel. She will be interred next to her loving husband, John M. Lewis at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
