Elois June Weddle

Burial will take place at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on October 1, 2026, at 11:15 am.

June was born Longmont, CO to Hubert and Ardith Mathews on October 31, 1933. She went to school at Longmont High School. She married John Paul Weddle on November 21, 1956, in Arlington, TX. She graduated from Nursing School at Arlington Memorial Hospital. She worked as an LVN for family practice and oncology offices in Arlington for many years. She was involved in Bluebonnet Chapter Decorative Painters Group and an active member of the Catholic Church.

June is preceded in death by Husband of 56 years, John Paul Weddle, Parents Hubert and Ardith Mathews, Sister Billie Ann Peltzer, Brother James Mathews, Sister Betty Fessett, Sister Mary Ellen Pettit, Niece Renee Larabee.

June is survived by Her brother Joseph Mathews, many nieces and nephews and friends she thought of as family.

Memorials may be given to Parkland Burn Center or St. Jude.
