Doris Hunter Voss 92, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2017 at her home in Garland, TX. Doris was born on June 26, 1924 in La Vernia, TX to Oscar Henry Hunter Sr and Blanch Irene Sanders Hunter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Donald Voss and 2 brothers, Oscar Henry Hunter Jr. and James Sanders “Sam” Hunter. Doris is survived by her 2 sons, Mark Hunter Voss and John Douglas Voss and his wife, Micki Ann Voss; sister, Alice Jean Lestarjette; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Doris Hunter Voss will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
