The family of Dana Shawn Ishee is deeply saddened to announce her passing on June 10, 2026. Born on August 16, 1951, in Houston, Texas, Dana lived a life filled with friends, laughter, and love for her family. A retired office manager, Dana spent many years working with people who she would come to consider part of her family. Dana was predeceased by her father, Charles Edward “Ed” Ishee, Sr., and mother, Myra Frances McCord Ishee, and younger sister, Lela Marie Ishee. She will be lovingly remembered by her stepdaughter, grandchildren, brother, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and her many friends. At Dana’s request, there will be no service held. The family thanks Dana’s longtime caregiver, Aisha Jackson, for her tender loving care and support during this difficult time.
