Annella was born on June 7, 1929, in Ft. Worth, Texas. She is one of two daughters of Clarence Aubrey Hunter and Naomi Louise Hunter. In 1946 she graduated from Polytechnic High School in Ft. Worth where she was in ROTC. After that, she attended college at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Annella’s faith and love for Jesus showed in every aspect of her life. She lived her life to the fullest. One of her passions was volunteering. She was involved in many organizations throughout her life, including The Assistance League of Dallas, Old City Park, and The Dallas Arboretum. She continued to serve in that same role for several years. Annella never met a stranger and loved people. She had quiet strength of character and could see the same in others.
Annella’s selfless dedication to being a wonderful wife, mother, and Grand mom (“Mere”) is a true testimony to the kind of person she was. She was also a caring sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many.
