Shirley Stadler of Broadview Heights, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the age of 88 following a severe stroke. She grew up and graduated from Olmsted Falls High School, and was a 2nd grade teacher after graduating from Miami University. She lived and raised her family in North Royalton, and retired from North Royalton City Schools. She was known as the “friendly hall monitor,” and rarely gave out detentions - as long as students promised to be good.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Stadler, and her brothers Vincent and Edward Vlk.
She is survived by her sister Marilyn Dalton (Jack), loving family Laura Bindernagel (Tom), Alan Stadler (Nancy), Elaine Gorenc (Ed), and Dan Stadler (Rita). She also has six grandsons: Ben, Drew, Ryan, Kyle, Corbin, and Anthony.
The family would like to thank “Visiting Angels” and “The Avenue” skilled nursing center for the care and compassion they showed to Shirley.
