Richard "Dick" K. Frazier

Richard (Dick) K. Frazier, 94, formally of Estero, FL, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, in the company of his loving family. He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, grandpa and friend. His presence will be deeply missed.

Dick was born in Columbus, OH, on August 6, 1931, to Keith and Janet Frazier. He was raised in the Columbus area by his mother and stepfather, Elmer Thompson. Richard enlisted in the Airforce after high school in 1951. He served as Airman 1st in the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. After his honorable discharge, he began his career at the USPS as a postal carrier where he retired after 33 years of service in 1986.

In 1967 he met the love of his life, Norma, at the Big Bear Grocery Store. They dated five years before they married. Dick was married to his sweetheart, Norma, just shy of 54 years.

Dick spent the last 40 winters as a ‘snowbird’ with Norma in Estero, FL. It was there he cared for his orchids, banana trees and traveled and cruised with Norma during his earlier years of retirement.

His summers were spent in Apple Valley in Mt Vernon, OH where he and Norma hosted their grandchildren. Grandpa was famous for making his banana pancakes, French Toast and a heap of crispy bacon for breakfast. He taught his grandchildren how to fish, shoot an air pistol and even how to make and bake the perfect pumpkin pie!

Most recently, his summers were spent in Wheelersburg, OH, at his nephew John and Julie’s property. He loved sitting on the front porch listening to the birds and waiting for the deer to steal the bird seed from the feeder.

In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by grandson Ricky Cline and granddaughter Kelly Cline.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Norma Frazier, children; Debra & (Steve) Delaney, Rick Cline and David & (Tracy) Cline, grandchildren; Shanna & Eric, Jason & Abigail, Tina, Brock & Kelsey, Zack & Shelby, Kaylee & Joe, great-grandchildren; Shaun & Emma, Dominic, Aiden, Cora, Genevieve, Savannah, Chandler, Norah, Tanner, Soren, Eisley, Audrey, Adelaide, Marlo and many nephews and nieces.

In his later years, Rich was bothered by his diminishing sight, but he has passed on a great vision and legacy to all of us through his stories and unconditional love.
