Peggy spent several years living in Florida before moving to Ohio. She stayed briefly with her grandson, James Palmeri, and later joined her son, Robert Palmeri, and his wife, Marcella “Marcy” Northrup, in Richmond, Indiana. Together, they eventually made their way to Lake Mohawk in Malvern, Ohio, where Peggy spent her final years surrounded by family, including her granddaughter, Amber Palmeri, and great-granddaughter, Madysun.
Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel Palmeri. She will be laid to rest beside him at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida. Her family will gather for a small, private celebration of her life at their home at Lake Mohawk.
Peggy was the loving mother of Patricia Palmeri-Bates and Robert Palmeri (Marcella “Marcy” Northrup).
She was a devoted grandmother to Amber Palmeri and James Palmeri, and a cherished great-grandmother to six: Seth Patmore, Christopher Patmore, Madysun Palmeri, Gabriella Palmeri, Graciella Palmeri, and Amelia Palmeri.
Peggy was also blessed to be a great-great-grandmother to Amber Patmore, daughter of Seth Patmore and Hanna, and Rayden Patmore, son of Christopher Patmore and Taylor Mikesell.
Throughout her life, Peggy was active in the Catholic Church and various women’s clubs, where she enjoyed the fellowship and friendships she formed. She had a love for traveling and camping and especially enjoyed spending time at the beach, watching deer, and making memories with the people she loved.
Above all, Peggy cherished her family. Her love, presence, and memories will remain a lasting part of the lives of those who knew and loved her.
May she rest peacefully beside her beloved husband, Samuel, and may her memory forever remain a blessing to her family.
