Born on June 17, 1951, Kathy was quick-witted, stubborn, strong, and deeply independent.
She loved traveling, testing her luck gambling, singing, and keeping everyone entertained—and occasionally causing a little trouble—on Facebook. A tough lady through and through, Kathy did things her own way.
She is survived by her four daughters: Vicki Plante (NH), Heather Pereira (CA), Christa Perparos (CA), and Andrea Hartz (OH), along with her extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Pauline Derby, and several siblings.
Per her wishes, no services will be held. Her family asks that you honor her memory by sharing a good laugh or a favorite story about her.
