Kathleen "Kathie" Ann Treglia

Born in Akron, Ohio, Kathie was the cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Considine. She spent most of her early years in Akron, graduating from North High School in 1967. She later attended The University of Akron and worked for Yellow Freight, where she met the love of her life, John Treglia. The two were married in 1989 at the historic Little Church of the West in Las Vegas, Nevada. After John's retirement, they made Las Vegas their home for nearly 20 years before returning to Ohio.

Kathie was the third of twelve children, and family was at the center of her life. She treasured time spent with her brothers and sisters and delighted in creating special memories with her many nieces and nephews. Known as the family's historian, Kathie devoted countless hours to researching and preserving her family's heritage, tracing the family trees on both sides of the family. Her spirit of love, kindness, generosity, and joy touched everyone who knew her and will continue to live on through her family and friends.

Kathie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Treglia; her parents, Thomas and Margaret Considine; brothers, Vincent Considine and Timothy (Patty) Considine; sister, Susan Considine; and nephews, Brian Adrian and Vincent Rocco.

She is survived by her daughter in law Susi, Grandsons Bayne and Noah, sisters, Mary Ann (Mike) Crawford, Betsy Adrian, Anne Considine, Eileen Considine, Ruth Considine, and Rose Steiger; her brothers, Michael (Linda) Considine and Tom (Jeannie) Considine; and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will forever cherish her memory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Blessed Trinity Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Avenue, Akron, Ohio. Friends may call at the church prior to the Mass.

Kathie’s family takes comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her beloved husband and those who went before her, and that her legacy of faith, family, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
