John J. McAvoy, born 5/4/1947, passed away 4/10/2018. Preceded by mother, Mary Konrad and stepfather, John Konrad. Beloved father of Carrie (Tony Sweeney) Montie, Noreen (Tom Rusnak) McAvoy, and Jackie (Patrick) Toward. Devoted grandfather to Aubrie Nicole, Michael Thomas, Bethany Marie, Gabriel, Kylie Mari, Adam David, Michael Patrick, and Ryan Anthony. Dear brother to Mark Konrad and Joanne (Rick) Mangus. Loving uncle to Karlee Anna, Cody Ryan, Victoria Faye, and Boston Grant. Dearest great-uncle to Patience Lynn, Brookelynn Faith, and Austin Scott. Friend to many. Family will be holding a private service. In lieu of flowers to the family or anyone wishing to pay their respects can make donations to St.Augustine Health Ministry at staugministries.org.
