Danny enlisted into service and graduated from the United States Army Quartermaster School Fort Lee Virginia of Cooking Excellence.
He worked as a "Jack of all trades, Master of None" which included: security, factory worker, warehouse, mechanic, and auto detailing. Danny's true passion was Cooking.
Danny was a former member of Amvets posts 40 & 109 Color Guard in Mentor, Ohio. During 9/11, he proudly waved the American Flag on Newell Street bridge in Painesville, Ohio, during a freeway motorcycle procession in support of our Country. He was very proud of his military service and participated in any way he could. He also loved and participated in Drag Racing at Thompson Raceway. He built and worked on his own car, “Ugly422” made from a gutted 1972 Oldsmobile 422. He also won a few races! Occasionally, he would partake in a Demolition Derbys at Painesville Speedway. Danny loved Classic Cars. Friday nights, as he sat on his front porch, you would find him watching a procession of classic cars heading to the Square in Painesville. He knew every make, model, year and sometimes even the driver. He also enjoyed his motorcycles. built from scratch his first bike. CB500 and proceeded from there. Awh, the stories.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert J. Hahn and Nora Elsie Hahn {Gura}. Grandparents, William and Agnes Gura. Uncle Richard Hahn, Robert and Roberta Gura, William and Joanne Gura, Charles, Fred Gura. .
He is survived by his Brother, David L. Hahn [Linda], Ex-wife, Deborah L.Hahn [Gallman], daughter, Nora Marie Heister-Kennedy [Matthew], son, Joseph O Hahn and grand-daughter, Abigail Heister.
