Connie Sue Ferrell (Samples), 79, of Sylvania, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord on June 20, 2026. She was born on February 15, 1947, in Procious, West Virginia, where her deep roots, strong values, and unwavering Christian faith first took shape. Throughout her life, Connie leaned on her faith and her family to guide her through every season. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Lenore Samples.
In August of 1965, Connie married the love of her life, Kermit Ferrell, and together they shared more than sixty years of devotion, partnership, and steady love. They built a home centered on faith, warmth, and togetherness. A dedicated homemaker, Connie poured her heart into caring for her family. Her generous spirit was known by all—she was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation. Her kindness, strong faith, and giving nature touched everyone blessed to know her. She especially enjoyed gospel singing and attending church, where her faith was continually nurtured.
