

He was born on August 3, 1931 to Jacob and Geraldine (nee' Shingles) Stoltz. He grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio graduating in 1951.
He was proud to serve in the U.S. Navy for 4 years.
Upon his return, he worked at Vaughn Machine until joining Local 306 Electrical Union in 1956. He worked many jobs in the area and retired in 1993.
He met his wife, Joan in 1955 at St. Joseph Church in Cuyahoga Falls where they were married in 1956. They had 5 children and raised them in Stow, Ohio.
After his retirement in 1993, they traveled with their RV. They visited all the states(except Hawaii), Canada and Mexico. In 1999, they purchased a home in Punta Gorda, Florida. They lived in a senior community for 25 years until they moved back to Ohio in 2024 to be near family.
He is survived by: his wife; Joan who he was married to for 69 years. His 5 children; Sharon Killinger, Lori (Mark) Dunton, Joan (Greg) Tesmer, John (Janet) Stoltz, and Chris ( Ron) McMullen. His 6 grandchildren; Michelle Jones, Jason (Michelle) Confere, Sarah Ryerson, Brian (Taylor) Tesmer, Melissa (Chris) Reye and Curtis McMullen and 9 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Miracle City Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days.
He will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
